I have a silkie chicken who has been sitting on one egg religiously. It pipped today, I came back out to check on it and mom had gotten up to eat and another chicken stepped on the egg cracking it more. There was a little bit of blood noted but through the pup hole it was still moving. I placed it under a heat lamp separated so that it would hopefully be able to hatch without anymore interference, what are the chances it will make it?

How Bad Is It ? Do You Have An Incubator You Could Put The Egg In ? If It Were That Close To Hatching It May Have A Chance...

The membrane looked dry, I very delicately pulled it off, the chicken came the rest of the way out of the egg but was stuck to the bottom of the egg by a little string, it came off but he bled a tiny bit. He hasn't opened his eyes but he is breathing and trying to get up. He has not been successful in standing up of course but I have him under a heat lamp to dry off and hopefully rest

He May Just Need To Rest Now, If He's Not Bleeding From Anywhere He Should Be Okay .Just Keep Him Warm...
He was kept u deer the red heat lamp last night with a feather duster close by. I checked on him this morning before I had to go to work and he pulled through the night, he was dry and was standing, still wobbly but much improved from when I left. Think I'll call him Rocky due to the Rocky start lol. I will post a pic when I get home
