I'm sorry if this topic has been answered before, I don't have time to look at all post this morning. I recently posted about the 8 hour power outage we had right before lockdown. I am happy to say I now have 5 darling chicks. I have 2 eggs left in the bator and 1 chick is still in there drying. I checked the other 2 eggs as I grabbed the last one out. There is a crack in one of the eggs, I thought it may be a pip, but, no it has been cracked during hatching of the others. Anything I should do? I am so happy the power outage didn't kill them all, if there is anything I need to do for the cracked egg I would like to save it to if possible.

Early in the incubation process, you can put wax or such over it to seal it and try to keep bacteria out. At your stage, I'd leave it alone. Bacteria will not be a problem at this stage. Messing with the egg will do more harm than good.

Good luck with it. Sounds like you have had success.
