Crafts for using feathers?

Does anyone have any different craft ideas for using chicken feather besides earrings. Have been collecting my chicks feather and trying to find different ideas for their use. Help

I don't have any helpful ideas. My idea was to collect enough feathers from my girls to make another chicken.

My sister-in-law uses them in dreamcatchers that she makes.

There are all kind of things to make out of them.

Around here I let the grandkids use them to learn to make things like tribal masks and dream catchers. keeps them out of my better feathers.

We used some to make Mardi Gra masks once. Depending on what shape feathers you can even make flowers out of them.

OK mind is a blank all of a sudden. Except...... we make some elaborate Halloween costumes here. I LOVE Halloween and feathers are always a plus that time of year.

The downy and small feathers can be used to tie flies, as in fishing lures.

Thank you, I had 2 massive heart attacks and pretty much was bound to the house.

If you knew me you would get how hard that is.
So I got a bright idea to decorate eggs, DH bought me a huge dremmel set, all different bits, paint, kid's collected feathers. And the first goose egg I tried to do

and same thing with the second one. I was trying to carve them, I do not have the patience required for such a delicate procedure.

So I made just those 3 eggs so everyone would be happy with all the time they spent (and money) to keep dear old Mom in the house.
