Just wondering if anyone has had this issue and maybe its a sign of early stages of Roo. My RIR and Buckeyes haven't yet gotten down that they are suppose to go in at night. So I go out and pick them up to put them in and two with larger combs attack my hands. They go right for the soft skin between my thumb and finger! I'm new to this breed. I have many other breeds and never had little ones like this. Do you think they could be exhibiting protection behavior as in ...rooster?
