Crazy about Chickens in Ohio

Hi everyone I am a new member...although I have been lurking around here for quite some time...I built a new Coop and I am currently working on getting our run done before...UGH..Winter!...I am Mom to 4 Light Brahma babies....One Cockrel and 3 pullets and I am loving it!...I love this forum and hope to be able to share and learn some more!...My babies are counting on me to take care of them!...Thanks for having me!

from WI. Did I hear (see) the dreaded "w..." word....? I have not mentioned snow or winter to my girls yet but have secretly begun to convert the garden shed into a little henhouse.....the current "accomodations" are not enough in my opinion (yeah, right....what do I know about chickens in WI in winter.....got my girls this spring.....lived most of my adult life in Florida.....

) But hopefully the girls will adjust fine to colder temperature....we haven't really had much summer this year
