I have decided I need to carry a camera when I go see the peeps. I started my little flock about a week ago with two 2-3 month old Araucana's that a local breeder was getting rid of. This evening when I looked in on them - the one I thought was more dominant was laying underneath the other one with her head sticking out from the others behind. I have noticed her trying to get under her sister - and it didn't appear to me that the other one was forcing her to be that way. I went back in to get my camera but by then the head was not sticking out. She was still sitting under her sister - all I could see was her hiney sticking out from under the other ones head. I don't think she could be cold...it's been pretty hot here. They didn't seem scared. I am not sure what the deal is, but it sure looked funny.
