Crazy eggs

My barred rock that had not been laying, has now started laying small yolkless oblong eggs. Should I be concerned?

About 5. I hope these are fairy eggs and will start laying again. I got 1 last week that was more normal in shape but very small. This 1 was more torpedo shaped.

Okay, I don't think you need to worry about it. As hens get older they lay sporadically and some eggs can be weirdly shaped. The other day in fact, I got a tiny round egg from my 6 year old. Let's see what more experienced people have to say lol.

If your hen is old, she is probably just slowing down and this is normal. If she is super young and has just started, this can also be normal, but not for an extended amount of time. If she has been laying for more than a year but is still young, I would look for underlying health issues. Hope this helps!
