Crazy rooster

Hi I have a frizzle rooster that is my favorite of the flock. He would walk up to me so I could pet him. Now when I go in the run he starts chasing and pecking my legs. What is he doing and why is he doing it.

He has hit the teenage phase and considers you a threat to his flock.There are several "rooster rehab" threads floating around. You could try some of the methods listed.
