Cream Colored Chicken - Not Buff Orp

My neighbor has a couple of light cream hens- no other colors on them. I have Buff Orpingtons and his hens are much lighter than the Buffs, but not white. He's so rude and almost mean so I can't ask him what they are or take a photo. They're so pretty and I'd like to get some chicks next year. I haven't found the breed name online. Can anyone help? They're of "typical" laying hen shape and size, no frills or fluff.

Lots of breeds come in buff, but "typical laying hen shape and size, no frills or fluff" makes me think buff Leghorn or maybe Minorca...
