I have 3 cream Legbar cockerels, originally from Meyer Hatchery raised by my hen. $25 each.
Hen raised roosters rarely become people-aggressive so these are a great first rooster if you’ve never had one.
They are a good age to add to a flock of mature hens, old enough that they are starting to look for danger while the flock free ranges but young enough to get the message if a hen doesn’t want their attention. A younger cockerel has to learn to woo the ladies instead of just jumping on them.
Legbars have 2 blue egg genes so their chicks would grow to lay green eggs if mated to brown egg laying hens, light blue if mated to white egg layers, and blue if mated to another blue egg layer.
