I have a cream legbar that I’ve had about 9 months ( she’s about a year old now). She first laid about last October or so and I got mostly beautiful blue doubles from her for weeks. She settled down and I was getting 4-5 eggs a week that were just normal eggs. For last 2 months she hasn’t laid any eggs. No eaten ones or hidden ones. She spends most of her time running up and down to the coop where she rearranges all the nest boxes for the other hens that are laying. She isn’t broody ( she herself doesn’t really spend any time in the nest box herself) It’s like she’s the coop manager. Has plenty of oyster shells. Eating normally. Good weight. Any ideas what could be going on?

Despite her management activities she could be laying elsewhere.

Might be time for an exam:

Then maybe....
Free range birds sometimes need to be 'trained'(or re-trained) to lay in the coop nests, especially new layers. Leaving them locked in the coop/run for a week or so can help 'home' them to lay in the coop nests. Fake eggs/golf balls in the nests can help 'show' them were to lay. They can be confined to coop and maybe run 24/7 for a few days to a week, provided you have adequate space and ventilation, or confine them at least until mid to late afternoon. You help them create a new habit and they will usually stick with it. ..at least for a good while, then repeat as necessary.

All my chickens are in the enclosed fence space during the day and at night locked in coop in smaller closed coop run. I have camera and can see they stay in the fenced part and the dog kennel. So she is not laying outside that area. I guess I’m more concerned with her coop activity all day along with her not laying. She is the only blue egg layer. I only have 6 hens so it’s pretty easy to tell if she is laying. I am still getting eggs from all the other hens.

Could she be laying soft shell eggs and the others are eating the mess? Calcium+vit. D tablets are recommended to maybe give her a boost?

Eta even if they have oystershell doesn't mean they eat it lol I have one that nitpicks it lol

I'd still give her an exam....but she maybe pre-broody.
Or a neurotic egg dud. :(
I had a chronic nest-messer, she messed up all the nests and harassed the layers, she was delicious.
