please explain to me how to create a new color. I love genetics and its something id love to try. for example howd people get the blue laced red color?? How'd they get tolbunt???

Tolbunt was created by introducing mottling to Gold Laced. It was most likely made in the fact that Polish don't come in normal spangled or columbian colors, so the easiest route is to go with a slightly similar gold lacing and add mottling, thus is it similar to Mille Fleur but not.


Blue Laced Red was created by introducing blue and mahogany to Gold Laced birds.


It's often all about introducing certain color traits to a pre-existing color, especially a base color (wheaten, partridge, brown-red, and duckwing)
