crested duckling got hit, will it be ok?

I have one crested runner duckling(came with my order, didn't order it specifically). My 13yo son was playing with a headlamp light in the yard and tossed it up and of course it lands in my duck container in my yard. I heard the poor thing cry from in the house(it was right out the window of the room I was in). My son felt terrible and held him for a while until he was up and chirping, calling for the rest of his friends. I did think my son killed it as it was stunned lying on its side with his wing out but he came around. Do I have to worry about any long term side effects?

The only thing you can really do is watch the duckling for signs of neuro damage from the blow.
Long term side effects are, of course, a possibility, but hopefully he was just stunned.
