I don't know about "quality," but I got mine @ TSC, which uses Hoover. My girl lays lots of very pretty blue eggs!Does anyone know a good online hatchery that sells quality legbars? Thanks
Do you mean a hatchery like Cackle or Mcmurray, or a breeder?Does anyone know a good online hatchery that sells quality legbars? Thanks
Hatcheries usually don't breed for quality but for quantity. There is Mcmurray and Cackle which sell better quality birds than other hatcheries, but if you want a high-quality legbar you need to go to a breeder. Here is the link to the legbar breeder club.Does anyone know a good online hatchery that sells quality legbars? Thanks
Seems like the smaller hatcheries are selling out like crazy! It’s hard to find some!If you do not want to purchase from a large hatchery, there are some small ones that have them as well. They have smaller minimums. See these links below. I'm looking for them too so have done a lot of research! I'm ordering from Spring Creek only because then I can pick them up and don't have to worry about chicks being shipped which scares me to death. Papa's has Cream & Opal ones too. And Rainier Foothills has Cream, Opal, and White!

Good luck!
Yeah, no kidding! After a couple of seasons of disappointment, I ordered very early this year - like almost a year in advance for some high quality BCMs.Seems like the smaller hatcheries are selling out like crazy! It’s hard to find some!

I hope you find some! If you do, I'd keep quiet about your source!![]()
Oh! Wish I did! I'm traveling pretty far for mine.I’ve got a local source for some BCM’s, and some of nice quality. So I consider myself lucky. Now if I could find some of the other ones!
The best part is that she sell barred rocks, australorps, BCM’s and Blue copper marans , RiR, and turkeys. She sticks with just those, and occasionally sells Guinea fowl, 10 bucks per chick for everything. Wish I could send you some, but Tennessee is far away from Cali lol. Hope you enjoy the ones you bought. I have a BCM roo and hoping to use him for breeding.Oh! Wish I did! I'm traveling pretty far for mine.
