I got a crested Polish rooster as a freebie from McMurray hatchery day old on April 13, 2009. Very handsome bird with black and green feathers white top knot. Same as depicted in recent NY Times article. Decorative. Not aggressive, melodious not overly loud crow. Headress a little worn because the hens pull out feathers. I am concentrating on silver gray dorkings so don't need him as a sire. Would have put him in frying pan except grandchildren won't permit. Can be seen or picked up Eastern Long Island or I will deliver anywhere on LI or close-in environs of NYC Picture on request. Small isolated flock so no known diseases or parasites. Free ranged, healthy. Will throw in a few quarts of Agway chick grower to get you started.
