crickets as a snack?

what do you recommend about crickets as a snack? i found a place to order them any size(age). about 5.00 for a hundred. i thought my peeps would love it, since the killling frost has run all the bugs back underground. and they so enjoy chasing flying insects.

Sounds good. It will be a hoot to watch them chase the crickets around.

My RIR's love crickets. I usually have to buy about five dozen a week to split between my frogs and chickens.

You might want to try bigger ones, not the babies. We thought ours would like crickets over the winter time; we had some of the smaller crickets, and the chickens acted like they couldn't see them, and weren't interested.
