I have 2 1/2 month old chicks. Roughly 3 weeks ago one of them became crop bound. Over the past 3 days, her crop seems to have gone down in size significantly. Before poo was clear like water and now it has colour. However, I can’t tell for certain if she’s getting worse or better. She is very very skinny compared the the other chicks and is ravenously pecking at food. Is this because she’s finally able to digest food properly again or could her crop still be impacted and it just looks smaller because she’s skinnier?

Initially after posting this she continued improving. Seemed back to normal,
I was over the moon. Sadly the past few days when she eats, a lot of the time liquid comes back out :( I’m really at a loss as to what I can do for this chick.

Does it empty in the morning (before food)?

If it is sour crop, you may have to treat her with monistat 7. There are quite a few good articles on sour crop and impacted crop. Pictures of her poop and her may help.
