crop staying large + strange behavior

My daughter's japanese bantam hen has a very large crop that doesn't get smaller overnight. I was also checking her for mites under her wing and some mucus came out of her mouth. We have three bantam hens and recently got another japanese. We quarantined the new pullet for a week. She didn't seem sick so we put her in with the others. Now our older japanese hen is acting funny. She moves her head in a strange way and keeps her feathers puffed up. I'm not sure what is worng with her and what to do for it. Any help would be appreciated.

Even though it's a bit late, a quarantine of 3 weeks at least is best...
The one with a large crop that doesn't seem to go down may have an impacted crop. Your best test for that is to separate her for a day and take away all the food and see if the crop goes down. If not, then you can take the steps for an impacted crop.
As for the older hen, she might have caught something from the new bird, or because of the headbobbing, she might have gapeworms. You'd have look down her throat to see.
Also, have there been any changes in their poops?

Thanks for your reply. We looked down her throat and didn't see any worms. This is the older hen that is having the difficulty. We gave her some oil and also massaged her crop. She also ate some yogurt. She seemed OK for awhile , then started opening her beak some and then after a while she started the headbobbing again. We have separated her from the others and taken away the food. Her vent looks different also the last time we looked. Red and not so normal. The new japanese bantam, who looks perfectly normal, has already been with the other bantams for about 3 weeks.
