cross mating

Hello Guys
I am curious about cross mating, can any one of you guide me? Actually I have buff cochin breed rooster and chicken and now I am thinking about for addition new chicken (Brahma or Orpington), is this work?
Another thing is that I use to hatch through my homemade incubator, can i get fertilized eggs from both of new chicken or not? After hatching which breed chicks will be hatch; buff cochin, brahma or Orpington?

It is possible to mate any chicken breeds with one another. Any chicks hatched will be crossbreds - a combination of both parents traits.
