crossing a golden sex link with a RIR roo

does anyone have some pics of chicks that were croos between RIR roo and golden sex links.. i have 5 GSL and 3 RIR hens and i was thinking about getting a RIR roo to breed with the RIR hens and maybe the GLS...I know the GLS is a cross RIR and a RIW.. just wondering what the babies would look like.... and Im pretty sure those babies would be great brown layers

I have the female offspring of a RIR rooster and a black sexlink hen. There is a picture on my BYC page. That doesn't help you, does it?

A Golden Sexlink is the cross between a Rhode Island Red rooster and a Rhode Island White hen? So, I'd guess that the offspring of a RIR rooster and a GSL hen would look a lot like a RIR. Which looks a lot like a GSL, right? That's just my guess.

You should not be able to sex these chicks by color at hatching. I agree with you that they should be good layers.
