when letting the babies out this morning, I heard one attempting to crow, several times.
He is only 6 weeks old !!!!!!!!!

what is the earliest others have had babies crow?

6 weeks is about the earliest for me, but I read on here once that someone had a 2 week old baby attempt a crow!

hahaha. depends who you ask. I was hoping for a few more weeks of silence

6 weeks can be possible. My Araucanas like to try at 7-8 weeks. They usually try and mate with females at 4 weeks.

Must be the "wild South American" blood in them.

Tee Hee, my boys are officially retarded from all that I am reading.

My Naked Necks are 12 weeks old and not a peep yet.......and I'm sore Mort is Mortimer and not Morticia, but Frankie could be Francis or Frances as yet.

My Brahma boys were well over 6 months old before they made any sound apart from baby peepings.

I think I will just go out and tell them how retarded they are! (Not that that will make a grain of difference).
