My 4-month-old wyandotte is crowing but at 4 months. We were not prepared. We were going to order a no crow collar for him but we were going to wait. He has crowed at least 10 times this morning and my neighbors aren't the nicest. What do I do? Or is there something to do?

NCCs ( no crow collars) are inhumane and don’t work, so I would suggest not wasting your money. Putting him in a dog crate in a garage or something with a blanket over top to block out light overnight as his sleeping chambers may stop crowing early in the morning, but he will still crow during the day. Are you allowed to have roosters? If you are, then you shouldn’t have to worry. If you aren’t, I would worry.

We really aren't supposed to have chickens. But we live on a Hwy more in the country than an urban area. We live in a small town but a larger city next to us is allowed to have chickens. The neighbors just moved in so we really don't know much about them. We've tried to wave to them but nothing happened so... :idunno

Maybe report them for something first so then they know you are boss and not to report you? Just throwing out ideas.

Haha, I wish. But I think that will draw even more attention to ourselves. I might try the dog kennel thing. I don't think the hens would like it though.
When Big Red started the early morning, and then all day, crowing I struck first at my neighbors. I knocked on doors with a dozen fresh eggs. So far, no public officials have come to visit us.
