My hen started crowing this week - she’ll crow once around 8am and will stop if I let them out of the coop. Is she a crowing hen or is she unfortunately a rooster?

Definitely a cockerel then, crowing hens aren't that common to begin with and it's extremely unusual for a pullet to crow that young. If you're hearing crowing this young it's almost certainly a cockerel

Help I am running into the same issue, this chicken I have had for 5 months, and "she" looks a lot like the previous post. She is very timid, no waddle, nor spur - is this a rooster? I am just concerned i may have to look at getting a no-crow harness, or if this is a rooster, giving him up.

That is a cockerel. It's extremely unlikely that a pullet will crow. Hens that crow are usually a bit older. Aside from the crowing he has pointy hackle and saddle feathers. Also bearded birds don't have wattles and spur growth usually doesn't happen until the bird is a bit older (usually around a year old)

Yes. That is definitely a male. Sorry! He's quite handsome so you should be able to find a home for him if you can't keep him.
