Crushed egg

One of our silkies laid a crushed egg today. She'd been acting lethargic and was all puffed up this morning, but now she's going about her business as usual.

Although crushed, it looks like only one or two tiny pieces are "missing" from the egg shell. What I'm worried about, though, is that when I cleaned the coop tonight, I found 2 (maybe 3?) other crushed shells that were hiding in places we wouldn't normally look for eggs.

We have 2 silkies and a Cochin who all lay similar sized eggs, and we tend to get 1-2 eggs every day, which has never worried me, since I know those breeds don't always lay daily. (The eggs are always small, as they are very small birds.) I know this particular silkie has laid beautiful eggs successfully. But now I'm wondering whether this crushed egg business has been going on longer than we realized (or if I just happened to find shells that were crushed some other way hiding here and there).

This morning was the first time our silkie acted so sick, and she looks alright again. Do I need to panic, or is the crisis (possibly) over?

Our birds all get as much oyster shell as they want, plus layer feed that's enriched with calcium.... Anything else I can do to ensure our girl stays healthy?

Thanks for any tips you can give!
