Crusty eye

Hello, my name is Droopymole, I'm new here, but I have a question. I have two bantam hens and one of them has a crusty eye. It seems swollen too...I cleaned the crust off with a warm wet paper towel, so now she can open her eye, but it's still swollen. any ideas? Thanks!

There are lots of threads here on eye problems... (probably on almost every page)....
Flush the eye with a sterile saline flush (1/4 tsp of salt in boiling water and boil a further five minutes and then cool> the container should also be sterilized). If there are still problems you can use an antibiotic solution but choose one especially formulated for the eye.
I would also give POLYVISOL three drops in beak once a day for a week.
