She's super cute by the way.

Just got her today and they told me she was a month old.

Yeah, she looks like no 4 week old. Likely closer to 6-8 weeks old. Which is a good thing in my opinion.

Marans come in both feathered leg and non feathered leg varieties. It is very common for cuckoo Marans particularly to have non feathered legs, especially ones from a hatchery.
You can tell this one is a Marans by its pink feet.

cool! this is interesting to know. I actually didn't realize mine would have feather feet when I ordered her, but it was the main way to tell her apart from the blue star when they were very young. They're about 3 weeks now, and cuckoo Maran is huge
