just picked up 2 Cuckoo Marans from the local feed store (they look like Silver Marans). I am not interested in showing, ect.... The chicks are just for pet quality. But our feed store gets chicks from Cackle b/c we are in MO and Cackle is only 2 hrs away.
Anyone have experience with Marans w/ Cackle? How did the eggs look? I am sure they wont be as nice looking as a well bred Marans, but just wondering how they might hold up in comparision....
