cuckoo or copper?

I got what I was told was a couple cuckoo marans, but after looking up info on feather sexing I discovered
they look more like coppers, but I am no pro. Is it possible for cuckoo's to have black legs and beak? I would
be stoked if they are coppers. any input would be great. I havnt figured out how to add pics yet. im trying.

What does their wings look like? It is possible it does look like a Copper but I don't know enough about Marans.

I can say for certain that it's not a Cuckoo. Beyond that, I can't say.

I'd say it's not a cuckoo, would you be able to tell us where you got it from. It doesn't look to have feathered legs, but even if it doesn't it's still a marans just not standard accepted one.

well the wings are solid black as of now. I got them from an urban feed store that got them from small hatchery. I dont know the fine details. are they normally feathered on the legs at a young age?

Yes, the leg feathers show up at hatch, if they are feather-legged.
