Cuckoo silkie breeding - Barred rock and white silkie?

No. All would carry silkie feathering but all would show hard feathered

My main hope with this project (if I even get to it) is to get "silkied barred rocks", not necessarily cuckoo silkies. How long would it take to get the feathering "silkied"?

If you breed the offspring to each other or to a sikkie, 2 generations for some to hatch silkied. It's recessive,so they need 2 genes for it to show. Far more generations though for it to only be silkied and everything else barred rock
