Solid Rooster X Barred/Cuckoo hen = Males with headspot, & grows out Barred. Females will be solid no headspot.

Yep. A cuckoo father can have both pullets and cockerels with the head spots, so those chicks aren't sex links and you'll have to wait until they are older to tell gender.
