I will add these to my 'Wazine' topic in a few, but first I need to know if these birds can survive this....what is this, and can they survive?

Sorry they aren't the best, but hopefully you get a clue. The huge red chick's (the one w/the biggest 'sack') has since 'ruptured'

Looks like it is not completely absorbed. That is typically caused by incorrect temps in the hatcher (too high). In some cases they will absorb them if left in the hatcher (in moist environment) and other times they rupture and eventually die.

I agree, it looks like an unabsorbed yolk or rough navel. Popped out a bit too early it seems. Keep it moist and it should go in. If it doesn't pop it may dry out and fall off. Give it a few more hours.

Yes, just keep it some where moist and it should ubsorb it, this has happend to me before and it survived. And shes a handsome little buff orp to this day.

Edited to say just make sure the chick doesnt rip it off or it will bleed to death or go into shock.

if the sac pops it will be best to cull right then cause all the stuff will be out , you know what im saying....
