I think Easter Egger instead of Ameraucana because your bird doesn’t fit in with a specific Ameraucana color and EEs are much more common.

Definitely a cockerel. That coloring paired with the crowing is a sure sign!

Ok so now I'm looking for an active thread for people that keep roosters as pets. I'm learning about the No Crow collar! Cupcake has earned his spot as a beloved pet and there are too many people wanting a free rooster just for a dinner pot. Wonder if people have had success or not. I saw an old posting from 4 years ago and I had wondered if that family still has a pet rooster in an urban area. And if the no crow collar worked for them.

I hate crow collars.
I've heard too many bad things about them.


Someone might take him. There are people out there that will take him as a pet.
