Curious about EE & Silkie gender

Hi! I have recently acquired 2 EE chicks (I’m assuming they are ee’s) and purchased 2 silkies. The ee’s are about 3-4 weeks and the silkies are between 2-4 weeks. I would like to hear what people think about my assumption of ee as breed and also some educated guesses at gender for all. Thanks!!

Well the one silkie looks male to me though it's early and they're a huge pain in the butt to sex. Not sure about the breed ID. Not seeing anything that screams EE, but since it's not an actual breed that's hard to say.

I agree that the black silkie with a straight comb is a male. The other silkie makes me think male as well by its stance but in all honesty it is still WAY to early to tell for sure by that trait alone.

I’m pretty convinced I have 4 roosters on my hands but time will tell...

Too soon to tell for sure. Give it 4 more weeks and update us with pics.
