Curious how many people have had dogs kill their chickens?

Just curious. Not starting anything, no controversy, but if you've had strays or neighbor's dogs trespass and kill chickens?

I have had dogs kill chickens on several occasions.

But, I still love dogs.

Good question.

And if you add "or injure" I'd wager the numbers will climb notably. Mine have been injured on several occasions over the years by dogs. Round the clock care, surgeries etc. have spared them death, but even one more minute of sustained attack, and that wouldn't have been possible. I was always purposefully very close at hand, most recently less than 1 foot away from hen Ellie watching her very closely to give her a few minutes of freedom in my yard, when a dog came out of nowhere and attacked.
