these are supposed to be all sexed Amberlink hens. But now I question. Are they hens? Are they even all Amberlinks?? I think I have two cockerels and hen. Feel strongly two are Amberlinks but thinking one is a Leghorn. Posting pics if I can figure out how to.
How old are they? You have at least one probable Amberlink (no Leghorns, they all have red earlobes from what I see), but the slate legs of 2(?) of them have me puzzled
Yes, generally 6 hens per rooster is a good rule. However, know that you will probably have to separate, or get rid of one of them. Cockerels kept together usually fight. Keep observing them over the next couple of weeks/months, give them their space, and watch for aggression. There are many threads here that will help you select the right rooster.
