Hello, I have 12 chicks- 5 weeks old now. I noticed the other day that one of the chicks has curled toes. She seems to get around just fine and eats well. Not sure if this is a problem or if she will be fine? The other 11 have straight toes and seem very healthy. Please let me know, I’ll attach a picture.
I wouldn't worry about it. I've had hens with similar deformities, and they haven't been bothered with it.
Trying to treat it by straightening the toe would be far more painful than useful.
