A relative of mine has hatched chicks around 20-25 days ago and the toes on one are curled under. The chick is also around half the size of the other chick. We tried a cardboard “shoe” to straighten them and it has straightened them slightly but chick still moves on it’s elbow rather than the foot. I have read lots of information online that would suggest it’s a vitamin B2/riboflavin deficiency. The trouble is I can’t find any liquid B2/riboflavin in the uk for chickens so my question is- can they have a human supplement and how much should I give him/her? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’ve heard that something like this should be treated as soon as possible
