I just bought a frillback over the weekend at a reptile show (of all places); not sure if it's a hen or cock. For frizzle chickens, you breed a frizzle to a non-frizzled cochin; do you do the same thing for frillbacks? I don't think so, but I do have one lone "barn pigeon" that just was flying around and decided my barn made good sense to stay at since there was food. Was wondering about pairing them up - but actually don't even care if they have babies though, but thought they may be happier if it actually would be one of each sex.

Nope, frillbacks can be bred together with no problems

It's a 'safe' gene I guess you could say. Just like muffs on the feet and other ornaments.
