Current eating egg prices

We're getting $3.00 dozen at farmers markets here. Sometimes we run them on special for $2.50/dozen.

Over the Summer, hatching eggs were on Craiglist frequently for $5.00/dozen. (Haven't looked lately.)

The cost per egg is feed cost per pound divided by 0.333...

What you get for your eggs is another matter. You get more by selling fertile eggs, but your cost...is feed cost per pound, divided by .333... of egg weaight
