Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

you have never heard of Yellowstone? Seriously?
That is true. :hit
As well as many of the other posted titles by others.
We don't have CABLE, or any of the other Steaming services.
Only Over the Air antenna TV.

Watching Television is not high on my desired list.
Going out to movie theaters, is even further down.. :old

I do have an assortment of DVD's and in next few days,, plan on watching ,,,
Cheech & Chong's "BORN IN EAST LA"
I keep busy with my time doing various things in the house, and garage, that I enjoy.
I also enjoy tending to my chicken pets, as well as cat pets,, and a new doggie..❤️❤️❤️

I watched "Yellowstone", "1883" and "1923" I like all of them, but not so much on "1923" as it was rather....unconvincing on the last part.

Yellowstone is saying corporate greed and that is just happening everywhere now anyway.

This week, I watched the movie "The Circle" and it scared me big time because we are half way there already.

Agreed on “The Circle”, it’s my biggest fears realized!

I am still thinking about it showings the way we are now.
Many houses have video camera for security now, every step we walk our dogs are recorded without the camera owner intention, but there it is. People are walking and making videos are more frequently seen on the street.

The other day at the new dentist clinic I went to, on their new client form it asked for medicare number & expiry date, this is very odd because medicare over here does not pay for dental so why they want this information? I put a big cross out on that section and wait to see if they verbally ask me to fill this out. The receptionist looked through the form and did not say a thing about it. My theory is that we are so subjected to giving out information of ourselves freely that some businesses think it is ethnical to collect our information by asking more than they need for providing the service, and some of us might just give it out without thinking twice about it.

Over here, all it needs is a driver license and a medicare card details to open a bank accounting online. Many things R done online, they cross check these identification online in real time.

On the tv series "Criminal Intent SVU", they have this blood sample to track the owner, but they could not find a match in their system so they buy an online service track my ancestry. The result was that they found a match, a sibling of their blood sample. I know it is only on tv, but this can be done/done already.

There was an investigative report over here a number of years ago that asked the question who own our DNA once we send it to those track my heritage services? The answer they found was the company own that DNA, not the owner.

I found many movies are telling us the possible future from the way we are now. Very scary.

It is a good movie "City Slickers". The day to day things we do sitting in the office after many yearssss..make some feel numbed and some outdoor work, the labour work bring some perspective to our live.
