Solved Cursor Keeps Disappearing

I don't know if it's my computer or BYC or what...it only happens on this site, though. I'll be typing and suddenly the cursor will disappear and I can't type anymore. I have to click the screen again to be able to type. It isn't predictable, but generally happens every few lines. I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this? I'm on a PC using Chrome if that helps.

I am on a PC using Chrome and never had that happen. Have you rebooted in a while?

If you have, perhaps it's something that got loaded on your computer. I use a program called Malwarebytes that keeps the riff raff off. I use the paid version, but they have a free one I'd try.

How do you reboot? Just restart the computer?

Yes. And if you've never rebooted, I would lay odds that's your problem. I reboot every few days. Some shut theirs off at night. I think the latter is the best idea.

Just one more thing...do you know if you have a virus scanner on your PC? If so, does it just run automatically? Most do, some don't. If you don't know, I'd type in the search in the tray at the bottom of your PC "virus" and see what programs come up. Windows Security will be one for sure.
