Hello everyone,

About 2 months ago, my parents brought home some new chickens. (They were some-what the size of a baby, I just don't believe we purchased them when they are at their chick stage) - Anyways, I noticed that two of our White Silkies/Silkys has curved feet. I'm not sure if this is natural, or somehow they just got these after birth. Their toes are actually all curved in one direction, pointing at the foot beside them.

Any reason for it?

Can you post a picture?

I had a chick born with curved toes and I made little "shoes" for her which fixed the problem in 3 days. She was only 1 day old when I put the shoes on ~ I'm not sure how well it would work on a 2 month old. The shoes were little pieces of card stock taped to the bottom of her feet with sport tape.

Hmm, that sounds like a good idea. But I guess it would be to late, considering how old my chickens are. They'd probably pick it right off, or they'd slip off. The curved toes doesn't really effect them much, does it? They can still move pretty fast. I'm just curious about when they are full-sized adults.

I bought a few polts with bad feet last year they do not grow as fast but they are fine
