Cut a chickens nails or do nothing?

So I just noticed one of my pearl leghorns has something strange going on. On the middle toe of both feet, the nail is about an inch or more long and when standing the nail and toe roll to one side.

Should I clip these nails for her? And if so are they like a dogs nails and bleed if cut to short?

Yes they will bleed if they're cut too short. Can you post a picture to see how long they are?

Should I cut just a little at a time over the course of several weeks or cut like half of the long nails off at one time?
