Cut on foot - advice please

I just noticed this today, looks like it was from a shallow cut thats started healing, it isn't bleeding. Should I put some antibiotics on it covered with Vaseline? I'm worried my other hens may start pecking it. Hen is acting, walking completely normally.

I would wrap it just to be safe, it doesn't look super irritated or red but antibiotics won't hurt.

Sorry to hear she got hurt. I would rinse with saline and apply some triple antibiotic ointment such as neosporin (without pain relief) x2 per day. Keep an eye out for any pecking, but I don’t think they’ll bother it too much. If you choose to wrap it, be very careful that you apply vet wrap loosely because it can slip and shift very easily and cut off circulation.

I wouldn’t use antibiotics unless you have an indication of infection such as redness around the wound, smelling or swelling. Keep an eye out for any strange changes.
