My hen has 3 small cuts on her. One by her toe, on the middle of her leg, and one at the edge of where her feathers meet the leg skin (is that how you describe it??) They've kinda scabbed over and aren't bleeding right now and didn't bleed much to begin with. They're quite shallow and don't seem to bother her. Do I need to do anything, or just leave it alone? (These are the first chickens I've ever had, so I've never dealt with this before)

Can you post a picture? If they are scabbed and shallow, you may not need to do anything, but betadine, Vetericyn, or plain Neosporin Ointment would be appropriate to use.

I couldn't get a picture of the one by her feathers, but I was inspecting it and it seems like nothing, a bit non-existent.

Looks like she got into a fight with another flock member? Honestly i wouldn't worry about it at all. Chickens are very hardy birds. I had a polish hen attacked by a raccoon. She was missing a whole chunk of flesh on her side. Every time we could catch her we would treat it of coarse but we weren't always able to catch her, She healed up mostly on her own and is still laying!

Wow! That's a tough bird! Thank you for helping. I was just concerned because the chickens I have now are the first ones I've ever had

The toe looks the worst, and I would just apply some antiseptic to it. Watch for any more similar lesions, just in case there is a mouse or rat biting, but she has probably been pecked or injured herself on something sharp.

Make sure the other hens don't get too interested in the cuts and begin to peck her, which could turn this minor, easy-to-fix situation into possible death for the hen.
