Cut on top of bill

[Accidentally Ducked]

My duck injured himself on the fencing today and has a small cut at the top of his bill. Is this anything to worry about? I’m assuming I can’t put any medication on it as he always has his head in the water and in the mud.

What do I need to be watching out for? Any advice is appreciated.

Put some ACV with mother into his drinking water 1-2 tab per gallon. ACV has some anti bacterial priorities and can help healing
