Yes, those animators were certainly familiar with many aspects of chicken behavior. I especially liked the authentic rooster fight scenes.

I must thank you for posting this, because I NEVER knew that you could watch classic old cartoons on YouTube! Excuse me for being such a fossil

but we don't even have cable, and there are many old favorites that I haven't seen for such a long time. Plus, I've been wanting to share them with my own children now.
