Beautiful, all of them! Here is our rooster, Cogburn, with Buttermilk, the lightest baby blue in the group. Cogburn has always been sweet to the babies.
The one, pictured alone, has beautiful plumage. Can't wait to see her full grown.
And, today, they have a new favorite hangout space - under the big coop. They are getting taller and they can dash in and out from under the coop easily but can still get away if needed.
Today they are 33 days old, almost 5 weeks.![]()
Six and 1/2 weeks old now. No longer babies. Their little rooster taught them more than we ever could about flock dynamics and safety. He was only about 6 weeks only when we put him with these 3 week old babies.
Thinking about keeping him, but we will see what happens when he becomes hormonal.
I love the baby blues white "eyebrows".
