This is my first year raising chickens, they are 20wks old. Next spring my daffodiles and Morning Glorys come up, is it true that they are poisenus to chickens? If so I'm going to pull all the bulbs up.

I've got both. Yes, they are poisonous but my chickens have never messed with them. I am a firm believer that chickens won't eat anything that will kill them. I've heard stories of them eating styrafoam and have no problems!

I have Morning glories that grow up the sides of the lot fence for shade and Daffodiles in several of the flower gardens. The birds don't mess with them. I also have Castor Beans spread throughout all the gardens and flower beds to keep away moles. These are highly toxic. No chicken has ever messed with any thing.

Oh thanks, I've heard chickens know what not to eat but hate to take the chance since they seem to put everything in their little mouths!
