I have several varieties of dahlia tubers and potted bearded iris for sale. Neither are bothered by the deer here in Ryderwood, and that's saying something! The irises are well started and ready to plant. A few even have flower stalks started. Below are the varieties I have, a brief description, and quantities available.
Carriwitched - IB, purple with white, slight fragrance - x2
Halloween Halo - TB, white with yellow-orange edging, slight sweet fragrance, rebloomer - x1
Iris florentina - TB, white with a slight blue tint, violet fragrance, HISTORIC - x6
It's All Right - BB, pale lavender, yellow & hazelnut, sweet fragrance - x4
Red Zinger - IB, burgundy wine, slight sweet fragrance, HISTORIC - x7
Star in the Night - IB, dark purple with violet beards, strong spicy fragrance - x1
Superstition - TB, dark purple, almost black, spicy fragrance, HISTORIC - x13
What's New Pussycat - BB, apricot, slight musky fragrance - x18
Wintry Sky - TB, white & purple - x14
Most of the dahlias I grew from Swan Island Dahlias stock, but one I received from a friend and the single US grower that it came from no longer offers it! Below are the varieties I have, a brief description, and quantities available.
Bodacious - informal decorative, blooms 11" orange red with yellow underneath each petal - x4
E Z Duzzit - collarette, blooms 3.5" orange with orange collar, attracts pollinators - x5
Karma Choc - waterlily, blooms 4" black velvet red, smells like chocolate!! - x2
Louie Meggos - informal decorative, blooms 9" white - x3
Miss Muffit (yes, with an "i") - 3" white daisy-like flowers, bees love it, available nowhere else! - x5
Pooh - collarette, blooms 3.5" red-orange with yellow tips and yellow collar, attracts pollinators - x3
Ryan C - formal decorative, blooms 7" velvety purple with white tips, can range from bi-color to solid - x3
Sterling Silver - formal decorative, blooms 7" white - x1
Steve Meggos - informal decorative, blooms 9" orange - x5
Tartan - informal decorative, blooms 7" burgundy & white - x2
Vassio Meggos - informal decorative, blooms 9" lavender pink - x3
Each tuber or potted plant is $5 each. I take cash or PayPal. Pick up is in SW Washington. Shipping might be possible if you are willing to cover cost.
